Over the years, the camp has evolved from a loose group of friends and colleagues in the SF Bay Area into a medium-size camp with members from different parts of the US and the world. We treasure the diversity of our backgrounds, cultures, and talents. Join Us!

Bat Haus
Bat Haus a daily refuge from the giant ball of fire in the sky, with spooky aesthetic. Just a couple of queer bats at Burning Man, trying to goth up the playa, as you do. We're mostly a kink camp with other shenanigans thrown in for fun.
Celestial Bodies
Celestial Bodies is a straight-friendly gay camp located in the ❤️ of the gayborhood. Home of the Playa Cosmo & some of the most loving Burners! Join Us!

Modeled after the Golden Gai district bars in Shinjuku, Tokyo, the Golden Guy features an alleyway of tiny bars, each space is only 8'x12' and specifically designed to intimately provide experience for our guests. NO FULL ALLEY IN 2021 but we are coming! Join Us!

Gymnasium
Gymnasium is a group of approx 25 burners who embrace naturist activities both on and off the Playa. We host naked oil wrestling, yoga, pottery and games throughout the week to encourage burners to experience clothing optional activities the naturist way! Join Us!

Lost Grotto of Wonder
This is a theme camp built around an art project. The art is not specifically queer, but many (most) of the artists involved are gay or queer. Join Us!

Designed like a '60s roadside motel, our flamboyance, mainly in SF, have worked hard over 11 years on Playa to establish Paradise Motel as a "daytime destination" with our classic offering of the best snow cones on the playa; themed music with live DJ. Join Us!

Tickled Mink (where everyone's a star!) is here to help zhuzh you at our minkup mirror so you can start channeling your inner diva, then you'll be oh so ready to strike a glamorous cover page pose on our cerulean portrait throne. Usually 12ish minks.

Turtle Spaceport
We are a chaotic bunch of friends building the Spaceport at 4:30, featuring a 24/7 lounge, daily workouts, nightly parties, and the Turtle Spaceport Pillow Fort designed to allow people to experience being sexually social in a safe and respectful way. Join Us!
